The Miracle Of Creation

Let us muse today from II Corinthians 4:6 and 5:17 and the theme of the Gospel according to the new birth. I find in these verses that when God saved me and I was born from above I experienced the miracle of creation. In the Genesis account of creation God said let there be light and there was light. Paul said in II Corinthians 4:6 that God stepped inside of him and commanded the light to shine out of darkness. It was so in my new birth that God stepped inside of my heart said let there be light and my heart was lit up and the darkness cannot be dark enough to ever overcome the light He placed inside of me in the person of Jesus Christ. Paul said in II Corinthians 5:17 if anyone be in Christ he is a new creation. The word creation means to make something from nothing. Martin Luther said He only make something out of nothing and as long as you think you’re something He cannot make anything out of you. I am glad He let me experience the creation story in my new birth when all things passed away and all things became new.
