The Holy Ghost Part In The New Birth

Let us muse again today from I Peter 3:18, Ephesians 2:1, and the theme of the Gospel according to the new birth. We are looking today at the Holy Ghost part in my new birth. I Peter tells us that the Holy Ghost is the quickening agent in my new birth. Ephesians says that when He saved me I was dead or corpse like. It is hard to get a dead man to do anything. I talked recently with a man who worked in a funeral home and he told me he had never had a corpse help him do anything. So our story of the new birth tells us God the Father chose us, God the Son paid the price for the ones who had been chosen, and God the Holy Ghost came,raised them from the dead, and sealed them until the day of redemption.
