Musing Through Matthew-Joseph’s Possession Of His Vessel

Let us muse again today from Matthew 1:25 and the theme of Jesus the King. I am interested in our text with the phrase knew her not. Oh what control Joseph had over his vessel to live with Mary nine months, never consummate the marriage, but look and trust in the God who had so clearly spoken to him. This my friend is self-control at its highest degree or better yet one who is dead to self and lives only unto the Lord.
