Musing Through Matthew-Jesus the King

Let us muse again today from Matthew 1:24-25 and the theme of Jesus the King. As we close this chapter and see the Son of God become the Son of man we are reminded that this child is the King of Kings. It has been magnified throughout this whole chapter. As we leave this chapter may we worship Christ the newborn King of Kings. Our God has become our brother in human form and now bone of our bone and flesh of our flesh He is the God-man. The nearer He comes to us in likeness the more may we bow in humility and worship of Him. Oh what a Saviour.
