Musing Through Matthew-Fleeing And Waiting

Let us muse today from Matthew 2:13 and the theme of Jesus the King. Let our text remind us today that having Jesus does not exempt us from troubles. God warned this precious couple that danger was on the horizon and they fled to Egypt. To have Him with us will often demand of us much waiting. I do not mind waiting if He does it quick. I find this is a funny statement but often so true. Let us be sensitive to a word from Him even if it means changing locations or long periods of waiting on Him. It will be worth it all when we see Christ.
