Musing Through Matthew-God Knows The Heart

Let us muse again today from Matthew 3:9 and the theme of Jesus King. We find in our study verse today that God knows the heart. John says to those that come for baptism think not to say with in thyself that Abraham is our father. We see clearly from this text that God knew the hearts of these people and shared it with John. Let us not even think our standing in life, what side of the tracks we were born on, our color, or financial position excludes us from having a sinful Adamic nature that needs constant repentance. Remember God doesn’t need us He can raise up stones that will repent, worship, and give Him praise.
