Musing Through Matthew-The Mode Of Baptism

Let us muse today from Matthew 3:16 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text today I see the mode of baptism. I do not make this a point of argument or separation but it is clear to me in the phrase He came up straight way out of the water that the mode here is not sprinkling but immersion. It is also clear to me that the one being baptized is making the statement. Let us be careful in seeing more in baptism than the Bible has to say about the subject.
