Musing Through Matthew-The Success In Capernaum

Let us muse again today from Matthew 4:13 and the theme of Jesus the King. I see from our text that providence led our Lord to leave Nazareth because He had no honor among His own family but oh what success He had at Capernaum. Capernaum is called in Matthew 9:1 His own city. It was here He healed the nobleman’s son, healed Peter’s mother-in-law, the Centurion’s servant, and the ruler’s daughter. Oh what flavor we find when we allow God’s providence to lead us each step of our journey.
