Musing Through Matthew- Deposits In Heaven’s Bank

Let us muse again today from Matthew 6:20 and the theme of Jesus the King. In today’s text we are confronted with how to make deposits in  heaven’s bank. It is in heaven where we will live a lot longer than we ever lived here, may I send much treasurers ahead. One might ask how can I invest in eternal thing? There are only two things in this world that will be in heaven they are the Word of God and people. I must invest time in the Bible and people in order to lay up treasures in the eternal world. We could hit two birds with one stone by putting the Word of God in people through sharing, singing, and preaching to them the Word of God.
