Musing Through Matthew-Borrowing From Tomorrow’s Troubles
Let us muse again today from Matthew 6:34 and the theme of Jesus the King. In the last verse of chapter 6 of Matthew our King deals with the thought of borrowing from tomorrow’s troubles. It is very dangerous thing to do. One reason this is dangerous is because if we worry about tomorrow God has given us no strength except for today. When you pull tomorrow’s troubles into today it makes a cloud to be over both today and tomorrow. Our King says stop it. If we are about the Lord’s business today, He shall take care of our business today as well as tomorrow.
