Musing Through Matthew- Beginning The Work Of Power

Let us begin today to muse from Matthew 8:1 and the theme of Jesus the King. In this section we see Him beginning the work of His power. We are told that He came off the mountain to find a great multitude following Him. He was never impressed by a great following He knew how fickle people are. Let us as the people of God and the preachers of God not be impressed with a crowd. Remember the same crowd that said glorify the King a few days later said crucify him. He came down with one purpose that was to lift up the multitude by a display of His power.
