Musing Through Matthew- The Thought Reader

Let us muse again today from Matthew 9:4 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our study for today we see Jesus is the thought reader. Our text says He knew their thoughts and called them out on it. Oh how that should bring us to great fear that our Lord knows all our thoughts. This makes even a stronger case for Paul’s admonition to us to bring every thought into the captivity of Christ. Paul was literally telling us to stop every thought at the door of our mind, pat it down, and ask why are you here. May our minds be minds He  is pleased to dwell in.
