Musing Through Matthew- Noise And Silence

Let us muse today from Matthew 9;25 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text for today we are confronted with the difference between noise and silence. When our Lord arrives at Jairus house he clears it of all the people. This group was wailing and making noise. I find that our Lord seldom does His great miraculous work in the midst of noise and activity but when we are being quiet and still before Him. In the text before us He says nothing to the girl. He only touches her and she arose. Let us be still today, cease from noise and activity it may be our Lord will pass by and touch us.
