Musing Through Matthew- His Response Of Compassion

Let us muse again today from Matthew 9:37-38 and the theme of Jesus the King. In this passage today we find His response of compassion to the crowd. He says to His disciples that the spiritual harvest is ready but the laborers or few. He asked of them as well as us to pray that the Lord of the harvest may send forth laborers to the field of the world. Where today are the true men of God, the missionaries that go to stay and not visit, where are those who travail in birth until Christ be formed in them? May some today say here Lord I am send me. May I be found in the fields today seeking to harvest a soul by His power and not by my abilities.
