Musing Through Matthew- Dangerous To Reject

Let us muse again today from Matthew 10:15 and the theme of Jesus the king. In our study for today our Lord reminds the rejecters of the Gospel that it is dangerous to reject Him. We know from the text that Sodom and Gomorrah was torched with fire and brimstone. Let us remind sinners who reject the Gospel that it is dangerous to reject because it will put you in line for that which is far worse than that which happened to Sodom and Gomorrah. I fear we soft peddled the consequences of rejecting the gospel in this hour. Let us remind those who have never been born again that they stand in line for eternity in hell. If this doesn’t happen in the final judgment  our Lord will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. If one has never been born twice he shall one day wished he would have never been born once.
