Musing Through Matthew-Isaiah’s Titles For Jesus

Let us muse again today from Matthew 12:17-19 and the theme of Jesus the king.In our text for today there is a quote by Jesus from Isaiah the prophet. In this quote we find Isaiah’s titles for Jesus. One of the title uses is the word servant or table waiter, the one who cleans up the messes of others. The next title is the word chosen, the elect one, the one whom God has picked. The last title is beloved. This word mean greatly loved love one. These are also names that are given to us His people  servant, chosen, and beloved, what a high standard for us to attain  to.
