Musing Through Matthew-Amazing The People

Let us muse again today from Matthew 12:23 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text for today we find Jesus is amazing the people. They were amazed that He healed the demon possessed boy. The word is similar to our word to stand in awe or mouth open while scratching the head. This  awe is accompanied with a question, is this not the son of David? Our God is giving them glimpses of the fact that Jesus is the greater than Solomon. I bless the day I saw Him as the king of kings. I stand amazed.
