Musing Through Matthew-Spoiled Strong Man

Let us muse again today from Matthew 12:29 and the theme of Jesus the king. In our text for today Jesus speaks of the spoiled strong man. What is our Lord speaking of here? I think He speaks of the day He robed Himself as God in the flesh. He entered into the devil’s house. While in the strong man’s house He died and arose again and set His people free that He had loved before time began. The devil would have never given us up had not Christ entered the house and set us free. I can say with Jonah salvation is of the Lord and truly none of me.
