Musing Through Matthew- Rest By The Sea

Let us muse again today from Matthew 13:1 and the theme of Jesus the king. As we start a new chapter today we’re confronted with our Lord and rest by the sea. He has been in a spiritual battle with the religious crowd and those of His own family. He now comes apart for quiet meditation. What better place to ponder the things of God but on the seashore gazing at His own handiwork of creation. Oh how calming to Him but ever greater will it rest us. Let us come apart often before we come apart.
