Musing Through Matthew- Stony Place Seed

Let us muse again today from Matthew 13:5-6 the theme of Jesus the king. Today we find in our study the mention of the stony place seed. When the seed is sown here because of the rock which are heated by the earth there is quick germination. There is not roots or depth and when the fiery heat of trials come, they quickly die out. Oh how many in our churches make quick decisions and have no roots. When the trials of life come those who were quick to come up are now quick to go down.
