Musing Through Matthew- Casting The Net

Let us muse again today from Matt 13:47-48 and the theme of Jesus the king. In our text for today we see the parable of casting the net. What an admonition to us all to cast the net of the gospel into the sea of world. The net was brought in full. The sea contained good and bad creatures. The separation is not done until they sit down on the shores of sweet deliverance. It is then the good will be saved and the bad castaway. May we spend more time casting the net this day into the sea of the world.
