Musing through Matthew – Jesus Puts Doubts To Rest

Let us muse again today from Matthew 15: 34 – 36 and the theme of Jesus The King. In our text for today Jesus puts doubts to rest. What are the ways He puts them to rest is by asking a question. How many loaves have ye? Their response probably is by a low mumble we have seven loaves and a few little fishes. Our Lord often takes our little abilities into His hands and once in His hand He does marvelous things. He told the multitude to sit down on the ground and they obeyed. When there is to be a feast of Grace let us the people of God be ready to sit down without questions. In verse 36 the most important thing our Lord did was gave thanks for the provision. Let us never eat without thanking our Lord it brings rest and puts doubts aside.
