Titles and Treasures

We are today in Va. with our son who pastor’s there. Think upon Luke 2: 10-11 today which says, And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a saviour, which is Christ the Lord. There are three treasures in this text one is fear not. It appears 365 times in the Bible, one for every day. The second is good tidings which is the gospel or good news. His coming is the greatest news ever told. The third treasure is great joy which is joy unspeakable and full of glory. This all come from His three titles. The one is Saviour, the one who pays the price for sin, certainly this takes away fear. The second is Christ the Messiah or anointed one. This is the good news. The last is the Lord, the one who is, was, and shall ever be. My what joy that floods my soul.
