Freedom From Sin’s Power

We are musing these days through Chapter 8 of the Book of Romans.  The theme is that of Possessing Our Position and becoming who we are in Christ.  Today we look at verse 2 and at the Hallowed Enablement of Freedom From Sin’s Power.  In order to be freed from one law there must be a higher law in place.  When we came into this world the text tells us that we were under the law of sin and death.  In our lost state we can do nothing but sin and die.  If we have been born again the law of Spirit and Life in Christ is placed within us.  This law lifts us above the law of sin and death.  We cannot in and of our self fly because of the law of gravity.  If we go to the airport and board a plane, we get into the law of aerodynamics, which lifts us above the law of gravity.  Let us live in the realm of the Law of Christ that causes us to be free from sin’s power
