The Purpose Of Happy Endings

Let us muse again today from Romans 8:28-29, a section I call happy endings. Our text tells us God’s purpose involves the working together of all things. The phrase working together means the putting of a number of sorted thing together to make one. We find in verse 28 it is according to His purpose. The word purpose means before His face. In verse 29 we are told it is a predestinated purpose. The word predestinate means to plan out ahead of time. His purpose verse 28 says is only for those who love Him and are called by Him. Life is not a series of accidents but a well laid out plan. Our lord has no plan “B” only plan “A”. It will have a happy ending.
