Intercession By The Spirit

Today we finish our musing from Romans 8, possessing our position. The last few days we have mused on verses 26-27 and praying in the Holy Ghost. The intercession by the Spirit will always involve intercession with pressure. The pressure will be from within never from without. Paul said he travailed in prayer until Christ was formed in them. The word travail means the inward birth pains of a mother in labor. This praying in the Holy Ghost involves intercession with a picture.Peter said casting all your care on Him for He careth for you. The word care means anything that divides the focus from Him. The word careth means to give one your continual undivided attention. Then he says for us to cast our care on the Lord. The word cast is term for a cast net in fishing. It involves two moves, throw it and let it go. We must put it on the Lord and let it go. My, what a position we possess in the world of prayer.
