The Humiliation Of This Person

I want to muse today on Paul’s pattern for a proper reaction to unwelcome situations of life. Look with me at Philippians 2:8 at the humiliation of this person. The text tells us this one who was all God humbled himself. He who was the highest of the high, came down to be the lowest of the low. How can we do less than humble our self in the trying hours of life. Do remember He gives grace to the humble. In His humility he became obedient unto death. He who was the resurrection and the life bowed to death. Satan thought he had won over Christ. Little did  he know that Christ in bowing to death, killed death for the child of God. He did not just humble himself to death, but the death of the cross. This is the worst of deaths. The Bible says cursed is any one  who hangs  on a tree. This is the pattern Paul put forth for us to follow in our hard timmes of life. How are you doing, do you look any thing like the pattern yet?
