The Response To This Person

Let us muse this great Lord’s day from Philippians 2:10-11 and Paul’s prison experience. In these verses I find the response to this person. We are told the only true response to Christ is that every knee should bow. Four things are said of the bowing of the knee to Him. One is that it is being done by everyone in heaven. He is so high up. The Psalms says He has to stoop down to look into the heavens. What else could the heavenly inhabitants do but bow the knee? He says that all in earth will bow the knee to Him. It is certainly not true of every earthly creature now, but it will soon be that every knee shall bow. We are told all in hell will bow the knee.The Hitler’s, Stalin’s and wicked of all the ages are  bowing  the knee. The fourth thought is there will be a universal confession that Jesus Christ is LORD to the glory of the Father. I am glad that when I bow in heaven it will not be my first time nor my last time to bow the knees and confess He is my LORD.
