Self Thoughts

Let us muse today from Philippians 4:6 on the subject of self thoughts. Paul said in an earlier letter to bring every thought into the captivity to the Lord. In verse 6a there is an admonition  about our perception of thoughts. He said for us to be careful for nothing… Our Lord said 5 times in Matthew 6 to take therefore  no thought. Let our thoughts in the midst of unwelcome situations not be of self but careful thoughts of our Lord. Our Lord encouraged us to go bird watching during these times. He takes care of them though they sow not, neither gather in barns a harvest. “Said a Sparrow to a Robin I should really like to know why these anxious human beings rush about and worry so said the Sparrow to the Robin I suppose that it must be that they have no heavenly Father such as cares for us.
