Let us continue to muse upon the sower who sowed by the wayside. The Bible says that on this ground because of its hardness and lack of germination the birds came and devoured the seed. Mark 4:15 tells us the bird that came is Satan himself. The word ‘devoured’ means to eat completely up. Let us who would be faithful to sow the seed pray before we sow that it would fall on good ground. Let us also pray after we sow that God would protect the good seed that the old dirty bird, Satan, could not devour.  Salvation is totally impossible with man.
