Wake Up

Let us muse from Revelation 3:2 and the church of Sardis. In our last study we found our Lord  confronted them with being hypocrites. In verse two the phrase be watchful means rouse your self, wake up, and be sober. Our Lord says what spiritual life you have is fixing to die and He admonish them to strengthen or invigorate those areas with Christ strength. Our Lord gives them the sad word that nothing they have done is up to His standard of being well pleasing in His sight. No work of theirs would receive a well done thy good and faithful servant. I wonder how much of what we are doing today falls short of His saying to us well done.
