The Principle Awareness About Trials

Let us muse today from James 1:2 and the Encounter With Trials on our road towards God’s Blessings. Today I want us to see the Principle Awareness About Trials. Let us be aware of the ‘types of trials’. The word ‘temptation’ in verse 2 is different than in verses 12-13. Our word in verse 2 means to try, test, scrutinize, or examine fully. The word in verse 13 means a solicitation to do evil. There are two types of trials. One, is for perfecting and the other is for correcting. How can I know which kind that I am in? It is simple. Ask the Lord. Let us also be aware of the ‘tests of trials’. Trials are sent by God to make  you stand. Temptations are sent by God and brought by Satan to make you fall. Trials aim at your developement while temptations aim at your disgrace. One who knows the blessings of God will be keenly aware of which is which. Every trial has a measure of temptation and each temptation has a measure of trials in it.
