False Religion Lacks Restraint

Let us muse today from James 1:26b and a proper Testimony on our road to God’s Blessings. Let us see today that Counterfeit Religion Lacks Restraint. James says that one of pure religion bridles his tongue. A.W. Tozier said that a man who does not control his tongue has a heart that is not controlled by the Saviour. James tells us in our text that an unbridled tongue leads to self-deception. Self-deception is the most dangerous thing that attacks Acceptable Religion. The tongue and the mouth is where one shows off his heart. Lord, set a guard over my lips and keep the door of my mouth.
