Inordinate Affection

Let us muse again from Colossians 3:5 and sins to die to. Paul mentions another of the five sins of the old man, which is inordinate affection. This one when defined  deals with a passionate desire for sexual impurities. Oh how our old man is drawn toward to the hog slop of sin. Let me remind us of the need of continually reckoning ourselves dead to these sins through the cross. Do not forget in verse six, if we continue to practice these sins we are courting the judgment of our God. The battle with the old man is a life long project
