Peace That Passeth All Understanding

Let us muse today from Colossians 3:15 and the peace that passeth all understanding. We find in verse 15a the position of peace in the phrase “and let the peace of God rule your heart”. This word peace was lived out in the life of the widow woman who lost her son to death during the days of Elisha. She told everyone it is well or everything is all right, knowing full well the boy was dead. The word rule is our word for umpire. This peace is the person of the Holy Ghost. He blows the whistle before we go out of bounds. Peace, peace, coming down from the Father above. May this peace rule in our heart’s in this hour.
