Prayer In Jesus Name

Let us muse today from Colossians 3:17c and the practical element of the Christian life. We have already looked at the practice and principle guidelines for how to live the Christian life. We now will look at the prayer guideline in the phrase giving thanks to God and the Father by Him. When our words and deeds are balanced, our doings are always with the approval of His name, it is then our lives will be lifted up to Him as an offering of thanks giving before Him. Oh to lift up a life that is a sweet fragrance of Thanksgiving ascending up to His throne. Let us remember, and whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.
