Be Thankful IN Prayer

Let us muse again today from Colossians 4:2 and the use of words. The one Paul speaks of here is supplication in words God. Paul admonishes us to be thankful in prayer. If all we ever do in prayer is asked and never thank Him, we are showing that we are self fish. We should often thank God just for the privilege we have to come before God’s throne with boldness. What if this great privilege were to be removed? When Saul could no longer knock on heaven’s door, he immediately knocked on hell’s door. We should often commit much of our prayer to giving thanks to Him alone.
