I Will Plant

Let us muse from our sixth last will statement in Hosea 2:22-23. The statement  is I will plant. The word Jezreel means God sows. If anything is to come to life there must be sowing by the Sovereign God. He says I will sow this one who is to be my bride into the earth. When one is sewed into the earth, it speaks of a death to self. If the seed of corn fall into the ground and die  it will bring forth much fruit. Through our death to self we will obtain God’s mercy which is God withholding from us what we deserve. Let us remember from verse 23 in dying to self we are now called the people of God and can say of Him,Thou are my God.
