Israel’s Return

Let us muse from Hosea 3:5 and the thought of Israel’s return. The word return means to come back to an original state. It is word used for repentance or 180° turn and change of life. It is used 22 times in this book of Hosea alone. Hosea says of this nation that in the latter days they will return and seek the Lord. The word seek means to press or pant after God. Hosea also says they will fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days. The word fear means to stand in reverential awe and to hold one in the highest regard. Oh may we as the future bride of Christ not wait till later but let us now return make sure there is nothing between our soul and the Savior. Let us seek Him and hold him in the highest regard as our all in all.
