Court Is In Session
Let us muse today from Hosea 4:1 in the thought of court is in session. In Psalms 94:2 the psalmist cries out for the judge of all the earth to rise up and give to the proud what they deserve. There are numerous times in the Bible when we see God picture himself as the judge and the earth on trial before Him. One of the clearest times is in Romans 3:19, where He calls court in session. He says that every mouth will be shut and all the world will be guilty before God. Let us remember even as God’s people we will give an account of everything done in this life at the Bema seat judgment of God. We will not be judge for our sins, but surely for our works, attitude, actions, and re-actions. We will be judged for their effect on our relationship with God and it will cause the loss or gain of rewards.
