The Author Of Joel

Let us muse today from Joel 1:1 and the author of Joel. The book comes from the hand of Joel, but the prophecy was a word from God to these people. The priest were to teach the word, but it was the job of the prophets to call them back to the word when they had strayed from it. Joel was a forth-teller as well as a fore-teller. Joel’s name means, the Lord is God. Throughout this book with the theme of the day of the Lord, God will use the hand of Joel to remind us the Lord He is God both then as well as now.
