After That Day

Let us muse today from Joel 3:17-21 in the section I have entitled a promise day. In this section I want to look at after that day. After the great battle of Armageddon Jerusalem will be in verse 17 tells us a holy city. In verse 18 we find it will be a restored city. It will be inhabited by a cleansed people washed in His blood verse 21 tells us. The Lord also will dwell as the King of the city. This sounds to me like the new Jerusalem, the new heaven and a new earth spoken of in Revelation. One day our Lord will destroy all we know to be true here and will cause the other side to become this side and we will dwell with Him for ever and thus ends Joel prophecy. Let us say with the Bible, Thy kingdom come, even so come quickly Lord Jesus.
