Vengeance on Ammon

Let us muse today from Amos 1:13-15 and a section I have entitled vengeance on blood kin. Both Ammon and Moab were the illegitimate children of a pedophile relationship Lot had with his daughters. Lot was the nephew of Abraham which made them have genetic connections. Like most Arabs today they would very seldom fight among themselves but they are united in their hatred of Israel. Amos mentioned the mercy line that they cross in verse 13. They invaded the town of Gilead were they ripped open the pregnant women with swords. Amos mentions Rabah the capital city of Ammon were God will send a fire and whirl-wind upon. This sin against Gilead took place years before, but remember a sin against God’s people is never forgotten. God’s wheels of wrath  grand slow but they will grind fine.
