Vengeance On Moab

Let us muse today from Amos 2:1-3 and the section I have entitled vengeance on blood kin. In this text Amos speaks of the mercy line crossed by Moab. The line was when not only did they kill the King of Edom, but they burned his body to lime. Because they desecrated this pagan King’s body God sends Nebuchadnezzar upon them and they disappear as a nation. Two thoughts from this musing. The one is I wonder after seeing God’s wrath upon this people who burned this body, what does God feel about cremation? The second thought I wonder what will become of the Arab nations that hate Israel so bad they would love to get the God hating Russians to bring about an end to the Jewish state. Be assured the Arab nations will be long gone while Israel still stands.
