What Woe Brings

Let us muse today from the Amos 6:8-14 and the subject of what woe brings. In verse eight God says He sees the excellency  of Jacob as an abomination. Jesus said what man highly esteems God finds to be an abomination. I can almost hear the Lord say you fools this night will the Lord require your life of you. I noticed one thing failing to hear God’s woe brings is death seen in 9-10. In verses 11-13 there will be destruction. In verse 14 there will be disgrace. I wonder if we might search our hearts today and see if I am at ease in my walk with God. May I see today the things I spend so much time in getting and keeping the Lord see it as a waste of time even an abomination in His sight.
