While Waiting For The King

I am musing from Bastrop, La. today. Had a good day on Sunday at Harmony Baptist with Bro. Brandon Meeks and Bro. Allan Eppinette. I want to begin today a journey  through I Thessalonians. There are five chapters. Five is the number of grace. It is a grace filled book. There is a verse in every chapter on the coming of the Lord. ( 1:10,2:19,3:13,4:13-18,5:1-4) This a book all about the grace of His coming. In this book Paul deals with what we are to do while waiting  for the King. In chapter I he deals with waiting with anticipation. In chapter one and verses one and four  I find An Anticipated Position. Paul speaks of being in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ. If we put both of them in the same sentence in the Greek they are equal. Paul says we find in them grace and peace. We will surely need grace and peace while we wait. In verse four he tells us to make sure our election. Before He comes let us be sure we are in Him.
