Jonah Sees God With Restoring Patience

Let us muse again today from Jonah’s angry with God in chapter4 : 3-4. We see here Jonah sees God with restoring patience. It is here that Jonah says to God just kill me here for it would be better for me to die and not live. Our Lord says in verse 4 Jonah you have all rights to be angry. Oh how patient and long-suffering is our God. It is clear proof of what Jonah has said about the Lord is the truth. Instead of killing him, the Lord is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness. Are we not glad that God  does not show us justice, but mercy.
