A Declaration Of Desecration

Let us in muse today from Micah 1:6-9 and another point from Micah’s sermon we have entitled a perception of doom. In this point we see a declaration of desecration. In verse 6 Micah turns his attention to the northern kingdom called Samaria. In verse 7C he sees their worship as that of a harlot worship. It was much like the Hindu religion of today. Young girls were taken in and made temple prostitutes. A relationship with one of these girls constituted worship. In verse eight Micah saw them after the Assyrian army had been through. The only thing that could be heard was the howl of the wild animal and the hoot of an owl. Let our nation who  so willingly and openly except the false religions of the world look well to the desecration of the Samaritan worship. It may be we shall soon hear the mighty feet of God trampling out His justice.
