Silencers

Let us muse today from Micah 2:6-7 and a point from Micah’s sermon a perception of doom. The point we are looking at is a declaration of deed. We have looked at one of the sins of God’s people already which was that of being a stealer. Today we want to look at another of these deeds and that was of being a silencer. In verses 6-7 people sought to silence Micah’s sermon by making light of it. They said those things will never happen here, why, we are the people of God. Is it not the same today, we as Americans think we are a God-fearing nation we can never have an earthquake or a tsunami that destroy a great deal of our country. If we knew the times we would realize that most of the true Bible believing Christians, the God-fearing foundation of America has been eroded away and we stand on the last pieces and notice there is a large crack nearby and it is beginning to give way.
