Rebuke Of Religious Leaders

Let us muse today from Micah  3:5-8 and Micah’s message on the promise of a deliverer. The first point was a rebuke is committed. Let us see today there is a rebuke of the religious leaders. The false prophets of that day were being paid off to give a good word. These people would conduct their lives according to the false word given out. It was leading the people deeper into darkness. Oh how many false prophets today stand in the pulpit with a message of fluff and the people live their lives accordingly. Micah reminds the false prophets there will come a day when you will want a true word from heaven but you will find God to be silent. In verse eight he tells of the true man of God. The true man of God is full of the Spirit and power, he proclaims the word of God, and cares not what man thinks.
